1: After you delete files,you may try “undelete” mode.

Tips about “Undelete” :

First, do not check the “scan by file type” box,Such speed quickly, sometimes only a few seconds or ten seconds,
Most of the time have been able to find the deleted files.
Some special cases may not find the file to delete, this time to check the “scan by file type” box, re-scan, although slightly longer than before, but overall still fast.

Will show you the partition has been found during the scan, please note carefully check the list to display the starting position of the partition, partition size, partition type

If the check list can confirm that you have found the desired partition, you can always click on the “Stop” button. Then select the desired partition and click “Next” and then very quickly scans the partition to find lost files.

If you stop in the middle before the “find partitions” scan and find that you still have not found the desired partition, you can continue scanning, set the starting position from the beginning to the position before stopping. So it can save time

The “Undelete” and “Unformat” and “Recover partition” are very fast.

But some cases,the three ways can not find the lost data,so you need more time by used “Full Scan” ;

For example, The drive showing as “Raw” ,the File system is not NTFS/FAT32/Exfat,the drive says “not formatted” or “unformatted” ,etc.Whatever reasons, “Full scan” will make a big chance.

Precautions in data recovery.

The worst thing in the process of data recovery is faulty operation which may bring about secondary damage and make recovery even harder. No data shall be written into the source disk during the recovery.

It is not recommended to run the DiskChk! In general, if there is any error in the file system, a message will come up asking whether to run a disk check when the operating system gets to the splash screen. After a period of 10 seconds by default, the DiskChk will run. It can restore directories with minor damage some times, but it will destroy the data for most of the time. It is unable to fix complex directory structure. Following the restoration failure, the root directory will have a sub-directory named FOUND.000 in which there are many files with .CHK as their filename extension. Sometimes you can restore these files just by changing their filename extension. Sometimes do nothing about them, especially the large database files in FAT32 or NTFS partition.

It is not recommended to reformat the partition. After the primary formation, the partition type will change, for instance, from FAT32 to NTFS or from NTFS to FAT32, causing data loss. Scanning with ordinary software cannot get the previous directory format. Some may changing the partition type back into the previous one by re reformation and scan the data afterwards. We’d like to point out that it is a terrible mistake to format the partition again because some recoverable big files will likely to be destroyed and cannot recovered any more.

It is not recommended to recover the data back into the source partition. Many users may use ordinary software to recover the deleted file back into the original directory. This may destroy the original data quite possibly. So directly restoring the data to the original partition is prohibited.

It is not recommended to redo array after its loss. In our practice of saving the server’s array, we met some network administrators who would force arrays and even offline hard disks on line, or carry out rebuilding directly after the server crashed. These operations are very dangerous and any operation written into the disk may damage the data.

In case of any data loss, no new files should be overwritten into the partitions in which the data needs to be recovered. It is recommended to close the downloader, stop using the internet, and close any unnecessary application program before scanning the data to be recovered. When it comes to the system partition from which data files are deleted and lost, if the computer has no such important data as the data base, we will recommend you to cut off its power directly and connect the hard disk to another computer where recovery will be conducted. It is because that during the shutting down and starting up, the operation system will write data into the system disk, which may damage the data
